Holland Lops have a wonderful temperament especially compared to other rabbits their size. Curious and relatively easily trained, they are fun to watch and fun to work with. They are so sweet!!!
Holland Lops did not originate in their present from in nature. They were bred in the 1960's by combining Netherland Dwarfs, French Lops, and Mini Lops. They were an accepted by the American Rabbit Breeders' Association in 1979. Today Holland Lops are one of the most popular breeds with rabbit fanciers.
They are the best rabbits in the world, no doubt about that! Let me support my conclusion with some information. First of all, Holland Lop are the smallest Lop-eared rabbits, smaller than lops and even mini lops (don’t let that name fool you J).

Shown in Two Classifications: | The head should be thought of as a perfectly squared box. It should be thick and wide and well balanced with the body, with a full muzzle. The crown should be strongly defined with lots of cartilage. The ears should extend no more than one inch (1 1/2") below the jaw line. The legs should be short and thick as well as straight with strong bone. the fur should be dense and glossy, as well as the same length (about 1 inch.) A good coat will slowly return to position when the bunny is stroked from the hindquarters up towrds the shoulders.
